The design process begins either at the showroom, if the client has architectural plans, or in the client’s home, where measurements will be taken if there are no architectural plans. During the design consultation, we will go over budget, door styles, cabinet colors, any accessories, and what to expect going forward.
After consultation, preliminary drawings are created using the 2020 design software. A detailed written estimate, as well as the floor plan perspective, will be produced for client review. If the pricing meets budgetary expectations, we require a design retainer to make any revisions to move forward. If the cabinetry is purchased, the retainer is credited back to the purchase price.
Once the design is finalized we are ready to sign the contract.
At this time the retainer fee will be credited back to the purchase price.
Cabinets are ordered once payment has been made. Once the order is placed we will receive a shipping date. Depending on the product, shipping can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. Once the cabinets leave the manufacturer, they are delivered to a logistics company that will then schedule delivery to your property.
For the homeowner, the installation stage is the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s an exciting time because, after all of the construction, measuring, and planning, everything finally begins to come together. Our cabinets are installed by Generations Installations, Inc. - our in-house installers and part-owners of the company. Once the cabinets are completed, countertops are templated and installed. After countertops come the final installments: plumbing, appliances, and lighting.
